If a parent has done an assessment using their own login, can they share that assessment with me, their SLP?

Hi! sorry it's taken us so long to find your question.

please note* when asking a question here on the Community - the best way to distinguish your question from a regular posting, is to use the TAGS and click on PLEASE HELP! This will send your post to the Communication Matrix team.

To respond to your question- anyone, including a parent, who has done an assessment can share that assessment through email. They need to go into that assessment and send it as a PDF to your email.

IF you want to work on that assessment, they actually need to transfer their child to you (temporarily). For that to happen, it has to be within 30 days of it's creation. You also need to be in a Group with that parent. For Group Management, go under the ASSESSMENT tab and click on GROUP MANAGEMENT - see the information there on creating a group. Once as a group, the Group Manager can move children from assessor to assessor. Also under the ASSESSMENT tab, under the HOW TO tab, there are short videos on all of this.

for specific technical help, click on the CONTACT US link in the lower right hand corner to send an email to the technical support team

thanks for being a part of the Matrix Community!

Yes. Tell them to login to the site and then go to the My Assessments page. Then under the personal identifier they have the options (there are 3 orange buttons) Start a new... Create Custom... and EMAIL RESULTS. Follow the email results link and then enter your email address at the top of the form. I have attached two screen shots that illustrate how the My Assessments Page and the box that pops-up when they choose to email results (make sure they enable pop-ups within their browser).

I hope this is information is helpful. If not please reply with further details and I will do all I can to answer. I am not affiliated with this site but they are doing a good thing and they fund themselves via donations. So they are likely overworked and understaffed or they do it on their free time; therefore, I am just trying to help out when I feel it might be helpful.

Best wishes

Steve
