Collection Shared Reading

Date Created: 7/9/2018

This collection is a collaboration of the faculty at Portland State University, Department of Special Education. Interactive story book reading, also known as shared reading, is supported in the literature as an avenue for increasing communication and literacy development for young children. This collection will focus on some of the efforts we are making to include students with complex support needs in shared reading in the local library and in our schools.
